Mission Statement

Logan Street Market exists to provide healthy, fresh, local food to an underserved community, to be a leader in sustainable practices and events, to be a community gathering space for people to learn, grow and connect, and to be a premier destination where local chefs and artisans excel. Logan Street Market is a registered Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), a model allowing us to execute our social mission while running a sustainable business. Our mission is to provide an avenue for local and regional food, and for culture economies to engage the community through the timeless public market model. We serve as a venue for residents from all corners of the county to interact and grow together.


Environmental Sustainability is a core mission of Logan Street Market. As part of this are efforts are the following:

  • Prohibiting the use of: plastic bags, plastic straws and styrofoam
  • Working with UofL Sustainability Program for our composting needs
  • Partnered with Evolve KY for our electric car charging station
  • Using the green energy program with LG& E to offset our energy usage with renewables

Being a Market and food hall would not be possible without the entrepreneurial spirit of our awesome Merchants.

We are made up of 30+ local Chefs, Artisans, and Vendors.

Their passion and knowledge helps to make the Market the top food and beverage destination in the region.

Farmers Market

Farmers Market at Logan St. Market

The Farmers Market at Logan Street Market will take place rain or shine. The market will be on the 900 block of E St Catherine St between Logan St and Steve Magre Alley weather permitting. Weather requiring it will take place inside the Logan Street Market building which is adjacent to the farmers market area.

Days and Hours:

Hours of operation: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Hours of operation: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
